Where to find all 100 hidden packages in GTA 3 and what every 10 unlocks

The packages are in place from the very start: you can collect them right after Give Me Liberty and even after the story ends. But Staunton Island only opens after the mission Last Requests, and Shoreside Vale after A Drop in the Ocean. One package in Portland also has to wait: No. 19 in the restrooms of the Chinatown subway station is reachable after Last Requests.

Each reward appears at all three safehouses (Portland, Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale) and stays there for good. The game tells you about each new reward on your pager.

GTA Wiki, GTABase and PowerPyx all confirm the $1,000,000 for all 100. Per GTA Wiki, each package also pays $1,000, so the whole collection comes to $1,100,000; other guides don't give a per-package amount.

We number the packages as GTA Wiki does. PowerPyx, old FAQs and the Bradygames guides count differently: for example, the airport helipad is No. 76 on GTA Wiki and No. 98 in the old FAQs, and the helipad at Kenji's casino is No. 49 and No. 69 respectively. Don't mix numbers from different guides.

We split the islands using the game files. PowerPyx gives 33 / 35 / 32 because it counts the package on the Shoreside Lift Bridge (our No. 69) as part of Shoreside Vale.

The numbers on the maps match the tables below (GTA Wiki numbering). The dots are placed by in-game coordinates, so the distances between them are real. There is one map per island; No. 52 on the islet out at sea is shown on the Portland map, and No. 69 on the lift bridge on the Staunton Island map.

The island opens after Last Requests. No. 52 sits among the Staunton Island numbers in GTA Wiki's list, but it lies near Portland, so it is in the table above.

The island opens after A Drop in the Ocean. Most packages are at Francis International Airport (9) and in Pike Creek (7).

• The El train tracks. You reach the roofs of Head Radio (No. 2), Supa Save! (No. 23) and Liberty Pharmaceuticals (No. 24) by dropping down from the elevated railway tracks.
• Smash the glass. You get into Easy Credit Autos (No. 4), Rush Construction (No. 18) and the building in Bedford Point (No. 39) through broken glass or windows.
• Take a boat for No. 52 on the islet south of Portland.
• The Triad Fish Van opens the gate of the Turtle Head fish factory; No. 31 is behind it.
• Other rooftops: for No. 27 climb across from the roof of the warehouse next door, for No. 44 take the stairs, for No. 60 jump from the roof of an ambulance.
• Underground: No. 19 and No. 71 are at subway stations, No. 37 and No. 43 in underground parking garages.
• The highest spot is No. 69, on the Shoreside Lift Bridge itself.

• Definitive Edition (2021): the same packages and rewards, plus the Liberty City Secrets achievement. The remaster uses the same mission script, so the locations should match; a spot check against PowerPyx's Definitive Edition guide confirms it.
