Where to buy cars in GTA Online

Cars in GTA Online are bought through the in-game internet: Legendary Motorsport and Southern San Andreas Super Autos for supercars and sports cars, Benny’s Original Motor Works for custom versions, Warstock Cache & Carry for military and weaponized vehicles, and Elitás Travel for planes and helicopters. Some cars are sold only at the Premium Deluxe Motorsport and Luxury Autos showrooms, whose stock changes every Thursday with the weekly update.

You can get cars for free by winning the casino podium (Lucky Wheel), as a Prize Ride at the LS Car Meet or as event rewards. Regular street cars can be stolen and kept by registering them at Los Santos Customs, but expensive supercars taken off the street can't be kept that way.

Figures are player measurements compiled by GTA Boss (October 2026), without the HSW upgrade, weaponized vehicles or rocket boosts. Lap times are shown only where two sources confirm them. Until July 2026 the fastest standard car was the Bravado Banshee GTS (138 mph); after update 1.73 the Cartuccia GT and Veleno GT moved ahead of it. The stat bars in the game menu don't show real speed, which is why people compare measured results. The best lap overall belongs to the BR8 Open Wheel car (0:54.555); among standard race cars without HSW the Progen Emerus leads (0:57.624), and among all cars it is the HSW Vapid FMJ MK V (0:54.704). Among bikes, the Western Reever leads at about 163 mph. Full rankings are on the fastest cars in GTA Online and HSW cars pages.

HSW: the upgrade for new-gen consoles and PC Enhanced

Hao’s Special Works is tuning at the LS Car Meet that is only available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC Enhanced. It pushes speed beyond what Los Santos Customs can do. The fastest HSW car is the Bravado Banshee GTS, at about 172.5 mph (277 km/h) by player measurements. The 2026 additions got HSW versions too: the Grotti Veleno GT (GTA$3,090,000) and the Pegassi Horus (GTA$2,810,000, September 2026). Prices per GTABase.

Imani Tech: armor, missile jammer and remote control

Imani Tech arrived with The Contract update (December 2021). The mods are installed in the Vehicle Workshop inside the Agency, so you can't buy them without one.

ModWhat it doesPrice, GTA$
Missile Lock-On Jammerblocks other players' homing missiles400,000
Remote Control Unitdrive the car remotely, with the option to detonate it235,000
Armor Platingarmored doors and explosion resistance150,000
Primary Weaponsmachine guns in the body297,000
Slick Proximity Minean oil slick for anyone chasing you135,000

Prices per GTA Boss. The jammer and the remote control share one slot. With the Kortz Center update (July 2026), Rockstar added the Missile Lock-On Jammer to many other cars, so missile protection is no longer limited to a handful of Imani models.

The Oppressor Mk II and other weapons on wheels

The Pegassi Oppressor Mk II is a flying bike with missiles and the most famous vehicle in GTA Online. On April 27, 2023 Rockstar raised its price to GTA$8,000,000. The trade price of 6,000,000 unlocks after five Client Jobs in the Terrorbyte (the Terrorbyte costs from 1,375,000). The Mk II is also upgraded in the Terrorbyte workshop. Rockstar has nerfed it in PvP several times, so it isn't a first purchase for a new player.
