As of November 5, 2026, Rockstar hasn't officially said who plays Jason and Lucia in GTA 6. We've gathered which people and characters are confirmed: the eight characters from the official site, the celebrity radio hosts and the soundtrack artists. We'll name the actors after launch on November 19, from the game's credits.
Who voices Jason and Lucia
As of November 5, 2026, Rockstar hasn't officially named a single GTA 6 actor. The trailers, the game's website, Rockstar Newswire posts and the store listings don't name the leads.
The names attributed to Jason and Lucia come from fans comparing voices and actors' résumés, and Notebookcheck and 80.lv explicitly call them unofficial. Such lists exist, but we don't reproduce them because they haven't been confirmed by Rockstar or by the actors themselves.
We'll name the actors as soon as Rockstar confirms them or the game's credits appear, which means no later than launch on November 19.
The official GTA 6 characters
The "Only in Leonida → People" section of Rockstar's official site has exactly eight characters:
| Character | Who they are, according to Rockstar | Actor |
|---|---|---|
| Jason Duval | protagonist; after the army he works for drug runners in the Keys | not announced |
| Lucia Caminos | protagonist; released from Leonida Penitentiary | not announced |
| Cal Hampton | Jason's friend, who also works for Brian | not announced |
| Brian Heder | a veteran drug runner who operates out of his own boatyard | not announced |
| Boobie Ike | a Vice City local legend, co-owner of the Only Raw Records label | not announced |
| Dre'Quan Priest | a young music producer | not announced |
| Real Dimez | the rap duo Bae-Luxe and Roxy | not announced |
| Raul Bautista | a seasoned bank robber | not announced |
The An Extended Look video (August 27, 2026) features three more characters who aren't in the "People" section: Valentina, who hires Jason and Lucia as security for a Megamundo company party, businessman Andrés de León and Megamundo executive Petra Navarro, as described by GFinity, Notebookcheck, SVG and GTABase. Bios of every character are on the GTA 6 characters page.
Confirmed stars: the radio hosts
The only well-known people confirmed to be in GTA 6 are the radio hosts. On October 8, 2026, Rockstar revealed six stations in the post The Music of Grand Theft Auto VI, but gave only the names of the host characters. Who's behind them was reported by Rolling Stone, with confirmation from Rockstar (as summarized by GamingBolt and Complex):
| Station | Hosts in the game | Who the hosts really are |
|---|---|---|
| Cocoteo FM | El Martillo and La Gata | Bad Bunny and RaiNao |
| Back Country Radio | MW and Delta Dawne; reporter Mud Dog Mike | Morgan Wallen and Lana Del Rey; Mud Dog Mike is Jeremy Dufrene |
| Flash FM | Robyn and Alex | Robyn and Alex Consani |
| The Chamber 106.6 | DJ Kerry and DJ Tom | Kerry King and Tom Araya (Slayer) |
| Dirty South Classics | Trick and Trina | Trick Daddy and Trina |
| AfroBank FM | Burna and Palmsy | Burna Boy and Palms Trax |
The Rockstar site doesn't give the hosts' real names, only the characters. Tracks and a description of each station are on the GTA 6 radio stations page.
The soundtrack artists
Another group of confirmed contributors is the people behind the music:
- Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album comes out on November 19 alongside the game: 34 original tracks, with Atlantic Records as partner. The singles listed on the Rockstar site include Yung Lean, Future and Metro Boomin, Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Fred again.., Morgan Wallen, Fuerza Regida, Rauw Alejandro, Cardi B and Keith Richards.
- The original score is by the duo Justice (Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay). Their single "Flower in a Hurricane" featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard plays in the October 15 Launch Trailer. The Original Score album comes out on December 11.
So the musicians aren't on-screen cameos but voices on the air and tracks. Rockstar hasn't said whether any celebrities will appear in the game itself as characters.
Who from Rockstar has talked about the game
If you're looking for the "faces" of GTA 6 in the press, they're developers, not actors:
- Rob Nelson (Rockstar North) gave interviews to The New York Times, Famitsu, IGN and Flow Games about the gameplay, the protagonists' relationship and the frame rate;
- Aaron Garbut (Rockstar North) talked to Edge magazine about the number of interiors;
- Rupert Humphries (Rockstar) told The New York Times that the satire won't directly address the COVID pandemic or Donald Trump;
- Owen Shepard, vice president of lighting and rendering art, talked to Game Informer about weather and hurricanes;
- Michael Kane, vice president of dynamic art, talked about the more than 170 animal species.
How it was in GTA 5
The GTA 5 protagonists were played by Ned Luke (Michael), Shawn Fonteno (Franklin) and Steven Ogg (Trevor); these names match across encyclopedic references and player databases. The same actors recorded both the voices and the movements of the characters, so in the GTA 6 credits we'll look for the same thing: who played the role, not just who voiced it. The full GTA 5 cast is on the GTA 5 characters page.
Rockstar hasn't said whether actors or characters from older games will return in GTA 6. Liberty City is mentioned only as the place Lucia's family comes from; Valentina, according to GFinity and GTABase, previously appeared in GTA Online.
