How many missions are in Bully
The exact number depends on the version and on what you count. The Missions page on Bully Wiki gives the full list: Scholarship Edition and Anniversary Edition have 57 story missions and 21 optional ones, 78 in total. The original PS2 game lacks the eight new missions, so it has 70 (53 + 17).
The same wiki's 100% section gives different figures: 52 story and 16 side missions on PS2 (68), and 52 and 24 in SE/AE (76). There, the Scholarship Edition Christmas missions count as side missions, and the Go See The Principal cutscene is not counted. That is why guides quote 68, 70, 76 and 78: all of these numbers describe the same game.
Below, story missions are numbered within each chapter in Bully Wiki order, and optional ones are marked "—". Other guides number them differently because some missions unlock at the same time. For example, you can play Prep Challenge before Movie Tickets, and Tagging and Wrong Part of Town both unlock after Bait.
Versions: PS2, Scholarship and Anniversary Edition
- PS2: the original 2006 Bully; the same game is sold on PS4 and runs on PS5.
- SE: Scholarship Edition for Xbox 360, Wii and PC; it is also what Xbox One and Series X|S run.
- AE: Anniversary Edition for iOS and Android.
SE and AE have the same missions. In the tables, SE/AE only means the mission is not in the PS2 version. Everything else is in all versions.

Endless Summer: what to do after the finale
After Final Showdown, Chapter 6, Endless Summer, begins. It has no story missions and never ends. This is where you finish optional missions, errands, races and collectibles. Classes continue through the summer too: after the expulsion in Chapter V they come back.
Optional missions and The Big Prank
Optional missions give you money, clothes and trophies for Jimmy's room. The clique challenges (Nerd, Greaser, Jocks and Townie Challenge) are a group of their own: finishing one adds a new save point. Prep Challenge, despite the name, is a story mission.
The only mission you can lose for good is The Big Prank. Gary offers it near Harrington House, and only on Halloween night. If you go to sleep that night, the mission disappears, and so does the Red Ninja Outfit.
Errands
Errands are small paid jobs, marked with a blue X on the minimap. You can turn an errand down, and a failed one can be retried the next day. They unlock after Save Algie: first a tutorial errand from Pete, then more after Defend Bucky.
According to Bully Wiki, there are 50 errands (not counting the tutorial). Anniversary Edition has 48: two car-smashing errands were removed because cars in the mobile version don't show damage. Sources disagree on how many errands you need for 100%, so we don't give a number.
| Achievement | Errands |
|---|---|
| Helping Hand | 10 |
| Little Angel | 20 |
| Momma’s Boy | 30 |
Mission achievements
| Achievement | Requirement | Xbox / PlayStation |
|---|---|---|
| Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior | complete Chapters I, II, III and IV | 20G / bronze each |
| Graduate | complete Chapter V | 40G / gold |
| Mission Accomplished | all missions | 75G (Xbox) |
| Perfectionist | 100% completion | 125G (Xbox) |
If a mission keeps beating you, Bully cheats can help on consoles. More on the game's versions and where to buy it is on the main Bully page.
