How a stunt jump works and where it shows up in the stats
A unique stunt jump is a specific spot: a ramp, a staircase, a slope or the edge of a building (all 70 are in the tables below). The game pays for a completed jump once: doing it again at the same spot earns nothing.
If you pull a trick in the air during the jump, the game often pays a separate "Insane Stunt Bonus". That bonus is for the trick, not for the spot itself.
According to GTA Wiki, the stats have two counters: "Unique Stunt Jumps found" counts the jumps you have found (attempts with the slow-motion camera), while "Unique Stunt Jumps done" counts the completed ones. Go by the second one.
How to complete a jump: build up speed and hit the ramp fast. If the camera switches to slow motion, the attempt has registered, but you only get paid for landing in the target zone. It's listed in the "Where to land" column — per GTA Wiki and GTABase, whose descriptions match.
A motorbike makes it easiest: iGrandTheftAuto and GTABoss recommend the NRG-500. You can get one in the multistory parking garage in East Beach (Los Santos) or at the Easter Basin docks (San Fierro) — details in the GTA San Andreas vehicles guide.
How much unique stunt jumps pay
Fandom, GTABase, iGrandTheftAuto and GamerGuides agree: $500 per jump, $35,000 in total. iGrandTheftAuto adds that there is no extra reward for all 70.
There are other versions. GTABoss says the last, 70th jump pays $10,000. Grand Theft Wiki, in a 2015 revision, claims the amount grows by $500 each time and the 70th jump brings $35,000. These are isolated claims, so we go with the majority.
How many jumps there are in each region
| Region | Jumps | Numbers |
|---|---|---|
| Los Santos | 24 | 1–24 |
| Red County | 11 | 25–35 |
| Whetstone | 3 | 36–38 |
| San Fierro | 15 | 39–53 |
| Tierra Robada | 1 | 54 |
| Bone County | 4 | 55–58 |
| Las Venturas | 12 | 59–70 |
The breakdown follows GTA Wiki (Fandom). GTABase places No. 54 (Valle Ocultado) in Bone County and counts 5 jumps there. The total and the numbering stay the same either way.
Map: where all 70 unique stunt jumps are
The numbers on the maps match the tables below (GTA Wiki numbering). The dots are placed by in-game coordinates, so the distances between them are true to the game. To keep the numbers readable, the jumps are split into four maps, the same way as the tables.
All 70 jumps: Los Santos (1–24)
The numbering follows GTA Wiki (Fandom); GTABase and iGrandTheftAuto use the same one. Other guides may order them differently, so check the landmark, not just the number. A district map is on the GTA San Andreas map page.

Jumps with restrictions: No. 35, 43 and 53
- No. 35, The Panopticon. A dirt mound above Easter Bay launches you toward the San Fierro airport. If San Fierro has not unlocked yet, you get a wanted level after landing.
- No. 53, Gant Bridge. Until the mission "Yay Ka-Boom-Boom", an invisible wall stops you from making the jump off the scaffolding along the bridge. Come back after it.
- No. 43, Doherty. A ramp inside the Loco Syndicate drug lab. You can do it in the Voodoo during the mission "Yay Ka-Boom-Boom".
- Jumps during missions. Per iGrandTheftAuto, No. 26 often counts while chasing Catalina on a quad bike in Local Liquor Store, No. 38 during the third Chiliad Challenge race (Cobra Run), and No. 10 occasionally while chasing Freddy in OG Loc.
Do you need stunt jumps for 100%?
No. The jumps appear in the stats but do not count toward the completion percentage. Fandom, GTABase, iGrandTheftAuto, GamerGuides and PowerPyx all confirm this. The full list of what counts is on the GTA San Andreas 100% completion page.
The Definitive Edition has no achievement for stunt jumps either; you will not find one among its 35 achievements (see achievements).
Tips
- Start with Los Santos and Red County: 35 jumps there are available from the very beginning, worth up to $17,500 in the first hours of the game.
- Do the jumps in San Fierro, the desert and Las Venturas once those regions unlock, so you do not pick up a wanted level just for entering.
Stunt jumps in the mobile version and the Definitive Edition
Definitive Edition guides (GamerGuides, 100pguides) list the same 70 jumps and the same $500 for each. No documented changes to the locations were found for either the DE or the 2013 mobile version, but none of the sources compared the versions directly. For the differences between versions in general, see the GTA San Andreas mobile page.
