How to enter cheats in Chinatown Wars
- Nintendo DS. Press the button combo during play (A, B, X, Y, L, R and the D-pad). After a correct entry the cheat turns on automatically.
- PSP. The same; the DS buttons map to PSP like this: A → ○, B → ✕, X → △, Y → □.
- iOS and Android. Go into any safehouse and arrange the letters on the whiteboard in the right order. When the word is spelled correctly, the letters vanish and a cheat message appears.
A cheat disables autosave. Save manually before entering one, and after playing with cheats load a clean save. Explosive rounds turn off when entered again. According to gta.wiki, cheats didn't work in the old free Lite version for phones. GTABase and gta.wiki give the same combos below.

The sets differ in contents: the first has a nightstick, grenades, a pistol and a Micro SMG, the second a taser, Molotov cocktails and twin pistols, the third a chainsaw, mines and a revolver, the fourth a baseball bat, flashbangs and an assault rifle (per GTABase).
